Field Test Study on the Bearing Capacity of Extra-Long PHC Pipe Piles under Dynamic and Static Loads

Pretensioned prestressed high strength concrete (PHC) pipe piles are widely used in various engineering foundations, which have the advantages of single pile bearing capacity, strong adaptability to geological conditions and degree construction mechanization. In order study vertical compressive performance settlement characteristics ultra-long PHC piles, strain dynamic detections static load tests were carried out on four with a diameter 0.9 m site. It can be seen from field test that capacity prefabricated was time-dependent. By end test, each increased by 27% 66%. The also verified rationality value restitution coefficient. Therefore, final foundation predicted using initial driving results coefficient, reduce repeated process, effectively save cost improve efficiency. Under 2.1 times design load, change range modulus is 37.5 GPa 52 GPa, side friction resistance 0 kPa 97 bottom ratio 0% 7.54%.
